About The Position
SparkJoy ABA, in partnership with Finni Health, is seeking high-energy, playful, and compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy to children with autism. The company is mission-driven and clinician-led, focusing on ethical care and meaningful outcomes. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy turning learning into a game and celebrating small victories. The position offers free advanced training, ongoing BCBA support, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact.
Requirements
- Naturally outgoing, energetic, and comfortable being high-energy to keep a child engaged and learning.
- 1+ year of experience working with children (daycare, camp counselor, teaching, coaching, or similar).
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in the Marion area.
- Passing RBT Certification within 90 days of hire (study assistance and cost covered).
- Successful completion of a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Proof of completion of a 40-hour Behavior Technician training course is preferred but not required to interview.
Responsibilities
- Work 1:1 with children in their homes, actively playing, moving, and engaging them to help meet their goals.
- Use creative, high-movement methods to teach communication, social cues, and daily living skills.
- Collect progress data and collaborate with supervising BCBAs to ensure the child is thriving.
- Build trust with parents through consistent, upbeat communication and in-home support.
