About The Position

The Night Auditor is responsible for maintaining guest standards overnight and looking after the property’s balances from the previous day. This role involves balancing paperwork, cash drawer, deposits, reconciling credit cards, and submitting batches. The position also requires inputting revenue, expenses, and allowances into the front office system to generate daily reports. Additionally, the Night Auditor will handle front desk duties such as check-ins/outs, room scheduling, and responding to guest requests, while also answering questions about hotel services and amenities.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or six months to one year of related experience
  • Ability to work evening/overnight shifts
  • Strong computer skills
  • Must be a people-person
  • Ability to interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive way at all times
  • Ability to fulfill requests in a timely manner
  • Ability to work well under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Balancing paperwork, cash drawer, deposits, reconciling credit cards and submitting batches
  • Inputting revenue, expenses, and allowances into the front office system to generate daily reports
  • Completing front desk duties including check-ins/outs, room scheduling, room moves, late checkouts, stay-overs and other requests from guests
  • Answering guests’ questions about the hotel services and amenities
