About The Position

We are hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for our Primary Care facility, Providence Trail, in Mt. Juliet, TN. This is a full-time, day shift position. The role involves coordinating patient visits, preparing treatment environments, conducting initial screenings, documenting patient information, transcribing and processing orders for labs and imaging, managing front-of-house communications, and maintaining medical supplies.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certified Medical Assistant obtained within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Approved credentialing bodies include, but may not be limited to: American Medical Technologists, National Healthcare Assoc, National Center for Competency Testing, National Assoc for Health Professionals and American Assoc of Medical Assistants.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • Must be willing to work Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
  • 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate seamless patient visits by preparing treatment environments and conducting initial screenings to ensure every individual feels welcomed and ready for care.
  • Capture the patient’s story by accurately documenting vital signs and care journeys, providing the medical team with the high-quality data needed for precise clinical decisions.
  • Facilitate essential treatments by transcribing and processing orders for labs and imaging, ensuring patients receive the follow-up services they need without delay.
  • Support the clinical flow by managing front-of-house communications and maintaining medical supplies so the care team can remain focused on the patient.
