About The Position

An Assembler is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of plans. They verify the correct quantities of components, parts, and quality check completed items, manage parts inventory, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.
Requirements
- Ability to follow technical instructions.
- Ability to interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
- Ability to discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
- Ability to inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.
- Ability to follow company procedures and directives.
- Ability to test finished products for defects.
- Ability to maintain the tools used to create products.
- Ability to keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
Responsibilities
- Putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of plans.
- Verifying the correct quantities of components and parts.
- Quality checking completed items.
- Managing parts inventory.
- Using hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.
- Interpreting product blueprints.
- Handling various tools.
- Evaluating and analyzing any non-conforming materials and making corrections.
- Inspecting and repairing any returns.
- Working well with a team and collaborating with people from other departments.
- Participating in inventory management functions, recycling management, and other warehouse related actions as needed for effective shift performance, based on workloads.
