About The Position

You will help the team meet customer quality and on-time delivery goals by assembling and testing products with precision and consistency. You will work onsite on the 1st shift (5:30AM–1:30PM) and collaborate with supervisors, quality, and production colleagues to support lean improvement efforts. Your contributions ensure assemblies meet specifications and keep production on schedule.

Requirements

  • 0–1 year general mechanical work experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications
  • Basic mathematical, verbal, written, and basic computer skills
  • Strong mechanical reasoning and ability to select appropriate procedures, tools, and equipment
  • Ability to apply product and process knowledge to new techniques and work effectively in a team

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic assembly and test functions using hand and power tools, fixtures, and inspection equipment
  • Record test results and operate basic electrical equipment and flow meters
  • Read and interpret blueprints, route sheets, test specifications, and quality directives
  • Produce and inspect assemblies to customer and industry standards; perform touch-up or full surface painting as required
  • Participate in lean initiatives by identifying improvement opportunities
  • Maintain a safe, FOD-free work area and ensure equipment calibration per schedule
