About The Position

The Production Assembler B builds small sub-assemblies for customer orders and top-level units. The role requires the ability to read and understand process sheets and some blueprints. The schedule is full-time, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime as required by the schedule.

Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to read and understand a process sheet or some blueprints.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies for customer orders and final instrument assembly.
• Assemble minor instruments.
• Perform minor sheet metal rework.
• Perform minor paint touchups.
• Set up work orders.
• Reject non-conforming parts and stop the process when parts or processes are out of control.
