Requirements

• Knowledge of and commitment to upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently supervised and unsupervised
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service experience is an asset
• Experience working with Subway or similar franchise an asset
• Valid WHMIS and Food Safe (Basic or Advanced), First Aid Certification is an asset
• Additional certification may be required by work location

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and build custom sandwiches, wraps, and salads to guest specifications and Subway brand standards.
• Wash, slice, and prepare fresh vegetables, meats, and baked goods following strict food safety and handling standards.
• Handle Point-of-Sale (POS) register transactions accurately, processing cash, debit, and credit card payments.
• Keep food prep areas, counters, dining spaces, and equipment sanitized and spotless throughout the shift.
• Replenish prep line ingredients, paper products, and beverages, helping unpack and organize stock room deliveries.
