Part Time Flex Armed Security Officer

About The Position
Protect people and property through vigilance, professionalism, and quick response. This role involves serving as a trusted security presence while helping maintain a safe environment. The position is part-time flex, with flexible scheduling and weekly pay. The officer controls access and traffic, patrols premises, monitors surveillance equipment, escorts personnel and materials, responds to emergencies, completes activity and incident reports, and communicates with supervisors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid state guard license
- Firearms proficiency and live-range experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and climb stairs
- Strong firearms proficiency
- Clear and professional communication
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in emergencies
- Reliability, vigilance, and customer-service orientation
- Ability to handle multiple priorities confidently
Responsibilities
- Control access and manage pedestrian and vehicle traffic
- Patrol premises and inspect security and fire exposures
- Escort materials and personnel
- Monitor surveillance equipment
- Respond to emergencies
- Complete Daily Activity and Incident Reports
- Communicate regularly with supervisors
