About The Position

SC&H Group is currently searching for an Administrative Assistant to join their Columbia, MD location. This individual will be the face of the firm, performing a variety of tasks to support daily operations and interacting with employees, clients, and vendors. This is a salaried non-exempt, on-site position in their new office space, with hours from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. SC&H is a national consulting and financial services firm that values trusted personal relationships and is driven by a passion for results. Requirements

  • 2+ years of Administrative Assistant experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and overall strong time management skills.
  • Very strong attention to detail.
  • Superior communication and client service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to be independent and work without a lot of supervision.
  • Utmost integrity and ability to handle confidential data and sensitive information.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supports company operations by maintaining office systems.
  • Greeting visitors and providing general support.
  • Help with mail, snacks and building management communication.
  • Manage office & kitchen supplies stock and reordering.
  • Plan and coordinate office events in accordance with our social committee.
  • Manage calendars and book meetings upon request.
  • Support corporate groups as requested.
  • Order gifts and maintain inventory of items.
  • Place lunch and dinner orders as needed.
  • Manage data in spreadsheets and reports.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Other tasks as necessary.
