About The Position
The Resident Activity Assistant organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one to one interventions, small group facilitation and large group presentations and assists the resident activity director as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in activities department in a healthcare setting or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- STNA license is preferred
- Experience with residents in a healthcare setting in an activity nature is a plus
Responsibilities
- Organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming
- Conducts one to one interventions
- Facilitates small group activities
- Leads large group presentations
- Assists the resident activity director as needed
- Communicates daily activities to residents
- Helps residents get to activities
- Performs daily documentation
- Assists with miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Activity Director
