About The Position
The Resident Program/Activities Assistant supports the Resident Program Director in creating, initiating, facilitating, and coordinating recreational and educational activities for community residents. The role involves encouraging residents to participate, leading activities, arranging transportation to activities as needed, and maintaining activity supplies.
Requirements
- Communicate clearly and effectively in English.
- Have an active, valid driver’s license.
- Be enthusiastic about activities and encouraging others to participate.
- Be patient, helpful, and flexible when explaining directions and answering questions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and coordinating resident activities.
- Encourage residents to participate in programs and activities.
- Provide transportation to residents as needed.
- Lead activities as directed by the Resident Programs Director.
- Order and maintain supplies for activities as needed.
