About The Position
The Resident Program/Activities Assistant assists the Resident Program Director in creating, initiating, facilitating, and coordinating recreational and educational activities for community residents. The role supports resident participation, leads activities as directed, and helps maintain activity supplies. The position is part-time.
Requirements
- Communicate clearly and effectively in English.
- Have an active, valid driver’s license.
- Be enthusiastic about fun activities and encouraging others to participate.
- Be patient, helpful, and flexible when explaining directions and answering questions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and coordinating all resident activities.
- Encourage residents to participate in programs and activities and provide transportation to them as needed.
- Lead various activities as directed by the Resident Programs Director.
- Order and maintain supplies for activities as needed.
