About The Position
Watermark Retirement Communities is hiring an Activities Assistant to support its mission of creating extraordinary and innovative communities where people thrive. The role is focused on preparing and implementing activities and resident programming in a senior living community. Weekend and holiday availability is required. The position is part-time.
Requirements
- Passion for seniors.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Able to work weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience preparing and implementing activities.
- Experience working in short-term and long-term care.
- A degree in therapeutic recreation or a related field.
- Two to four years of experience in resident programming.
