About The Position
PRC-Saltillo is seeking an AAC Consultant to provide guidance, training, and support for its augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) solutions. The consultant works directly with individuals, families, and professionals, builds relationships, delivers presentations, and helps clients access communication tools. The position uses a consultative, solution-based sales approach to grow a territory and support customers through the AAC device process, including evaluation, trials, funding, and training. The position is remote from the corporate office. Ideal candidates live within a 30-mile radius of Southaven, Mississippi. The schedule is flexible to adapt to client needs while the consultant manages their own time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Education, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working in AAC or Assistive Technology.
- Knowledge of AAC principles and solutions.
- Ability to build relationships and identify AAC needs through communication and collaboration.
- Initiative and adaptability in learning new products, services, and strategies.
- Time management, organization, and goal-setting skills.
- Clear, professional communication across formats and group sizes.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while contributing to team goals.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; maintains confidentiality and integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software tools.

Responsibilities
