About The Position

PRC-Saltillo is hiring an AAC Consultant to provide guidance, training, and support for its augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) solutions. The role works directly with individuals, families, and professionals, builds relationships, delivers presentations, and helps clients access communication tools. The position is remote from the corporate office; ideal candidates live within a 30-mile radius of Southaven, Mississippi. The schedule is flexible to accommodate client needs while allowing the consultant to manage their own time.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Education, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience working in AAC or Assistive Technology.
Knowledge of AAC principles and solutions.
Build strong relationships and identify AAC needs through effective communication and collaboration.
Show initiative and adaptability in learning new products, services, and strategies.
Demonstrate time management, organization, and goal-setting skills.
Communicate clearly and professionally across formats and group sizes.
Work independently and remotely while contributing to team goals.
Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving, and maintain confidentiality and integrity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software tools.

Responsibilities

Use a consultative, solution-based sales approach to grow the territory.
Maintain relationships with new and existing customers through outreach and support.
Guide teams through the AAC device process, including evaluation, trials, funding, and training.
