About The Position

Woods Machinery is seeking a Yard Coordinator to join its team at the Freehold, New Jersey location. The role supports equipment and parts handling, delivery accuracy, yard and service-area upkeep, and customer assistance during equipment drop-offs and pickups. The coordinator also assists the Service and Rental Departments in preparing machines for sale, rental, or demonstration.

Requirements

Two years of experience with earthmoving equipment, including excavators, loaders, and related attachments.
Familiarity with proper loading and securing methods for loaders and excavators.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving, bills of lading, and OS&D documentation.
High school diploma required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong customer service skills.
Computer literacy, including experience with PC and mainframe applications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors.
Ability to pass background and drug screening.
Ability to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Equipment rental experience.
Associate degree.
Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Unload shipments of whole goods and parts orders and place deliveries in assigned locations.
Load outgoing orders onto customer trailers or LTL trucks.
Arrange and secure new equipment for sales displays, rotating displays as needed.
Assist with bi-weekly whole-goods audits alongside the Branch Manager.
Verify incoming deliveries against packing slips and bills of lading.
Provide whole-goods and parts delivery paperwork to the Branch Manager for receiving.
Monitor incoming and outgoing internal vehicles to verify that the correct whole-goods and parts items are being transported.
Assist Service and Rental Departments in preparing machines for sale, rental, or demonstration, including washing exteriors, cleaning cabs, and performing inbound and outbound equipment inspections.
Maintain the cleanliness of the yard and service areas.
Assist customers during equipment drop-offs and pickups.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
