About The Position

Copart is a technology leader and global online vehicle auction platform with more than 200 facilities, connecting vehicle sellers with over 750,000 buyers in more than 190 countries. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for facility vehicle inventory within company timelines. Using company-provided tools, the specialist documents vehicle condition according to company standards, including a complete inventory and supporting photographs for each vehicle. The role also directs traffic flow in the receiving area to support timely processing and uses knowledge of Copart policies to help meet customer needs.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

General automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude.
Basic computer proficiency and ability to operate handheld devices.
Driver's license.
Bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain, and organize the receiving area.
Operate a camera and handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
Determine the operational capability of motor vehicles.
Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
Maintain an inventory of materials used.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Comply with safety requirements.
Direct traffic flow in the receiving area to ensure timely vehicle inventory processing.
Document vehicle condition, including complete inventories and photographs, to company standards.
Facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions that meet customer needs.
