About The Position

Copart is a technology leader and online vehicle auction platform with more than 200 facilities around the world, connecting vehicle sellers with over 750,000 buyers in more than 190 countries. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for processing and maintaining facility vehicle inventory within company timelines and standards. Using company-provided tools, the specialist documents vehicle condition, completes inventories, and takes supporting photographs. The role also directs traffic in the receiving area to support timely processing and helps meet customer needs by applying Copart policies. The position requires outdoor work in all seasons and offers pay of $18.00–$20.29 per hour.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

General automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude.
Basic computer proficiency and ability to operate handheld devices.
Driver's license.
Bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain, and organize the receiving area.
Operate a camera and handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
Determine the operational capability of motor vehicles.
Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
Maintain an inventory of materials used.
Direct traffic in the receiving area according to priorities to ensure timely vehicle processing.
Document vehicle condition and provide supporting photographs in accordance with company standards.
Help facilitate the Copart customer experience by offering solutions that meet customer needs.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
