About The Position

Copart is a technology leader and global online vehicle auction platform connecting vehicle sellers with buyers through more than 200 facilities worldwide. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing vehicle inventory at the facility within company timelines and standards. Using company-provided tools, the specialist documents vehicle condition through complete inventories and supporting photographs. The role also directs traffic flow in the receiving area to support timely vehicle processing and applies Copart policies to help meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• General automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to operate handheld devices.
• Driver's license.
• Bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and organize the receiving area.
• Operate a camera and handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
• Determine the operational capability of motor vehicles.
• Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
• Maintain an inventory of materials used.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
