About The Position

Copart is a technology leader and online vehicle auction platform with more than 200 facilities worldwide, connecting vehicle sellers with over 750,000 buyers in more than 190 countries. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for inventorying vehicles at the facility within company timelines and standards. Using company-provided tools, the specialist documents vehicle condition through complete inventories and supporting photographs. The role also directs traffic flow in the receiving area to ensure timely vehicle processing and applies knowledge of Copart policies to help meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• General automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to operate handheld devices.
• Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and organize the receiving area.
• Operate a camera and handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
• Determine the operational capability of motor vehicles.
• Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of materials used.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
