About The Position

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for inventorying all vehicles at the facility within company timelines. Using company-provided tools, the specialist documents vehicle condition according to company standards, including completing an inventory and taking supporting photographs for each vehicle. The role also directs traffic flow in the receiving area according to operational priorities to ensure timely vehicle processing. With a thorough understanding of Copart policy, the specialist helps meet customer needs by offering solutions.

The position involves monitoring, maintaining, and organizing the receiving area; processing incoming vehicles with a camera and handheld inventory device; determining the operational capability of motor vehicles; completing required vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs); maintaining an inventory of materials; and following company policies and safety requirements.

The position pays $18.00–$20.29 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and organize the receiving area.
• Operate a camera and handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
• Determine the operational capability of motor vehicles.

• Maintain an inventory of materials used.
• Direct traffic flow in the receiving area to support timely processing of vehicle inventory.
