Wound Care Nurse - LPN-LVN - Full Time

About The Position

RestorixHealth is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide wound care. Using the Nursing Process, the nurse plans, implements, directs, and evaluates patient care to support optimal outcomes. The role works collaboratively with other disciplines on the assigned unit and provides routine care for sick or injured patients in conjunction with Registered Nurses. Ongoing training is provided. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekends.

Requirements

Valid LPN nursing license.
Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with wound care patients; training will be provided.
Experience with billing and coding.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice.
Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
Recognize changes in a patient’s condition and intervene appropriately.
Prioritize nursing actions based on patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
Plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Process.
Work collaboratively with other disciplines on the assigned unit.
