About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills within the scope of practice. The role supports the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care and meets the communication needs of patients and families. The nurse performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. The position is in the Wound Care department at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, and is full-time on a day schedule with 8-hour shifts.
Requirements
- Current and valid Illinois LPN license.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire and maintenance of current certification.
Nice To Haves
- Previous acute care hospital experience.
- Previous wound care knowledge and/or experience, including wound assessment, treatment documentation, and product utilization.
- Wound Care Certification (WCC designation) within one year.
