About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills within the scope of practice. Care addresses patients’ psychosocial, physical, and general needs and meets the communication needs of patients and their families. The nurse performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. This full-time position is based in the Wound Care department at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, and follows a day schedule with 8-hour shifts.
Requirements
- Current, valid LPN license issued by the State of Illinois.
- BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current certification.
Nice To Haves
- Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Previous wound care knowledge and/or experience preferred; the posting specifies 1 year and mentions wound assessment, treatment documentation, and product utilization.
- Obtain Wound Care Certification (WCC designation) within 1 year.
Responsibilities
