Wound Care Nurse - LPN-LVN - Full Time

About The Position

At RestorixHealth, the mission is to restore health and improve quality of life. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) serves as a Wound Care Nurse and, using the Nursing Process, plans, implements, directs, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. The nurse collaborates with other disciplines on the assigned unit and provides routine care for sick or injured patients in conjunction with Registered Nurses. Ongoing training is provided. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends.

Requirements

Valid LPN nursing license.
Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with wound care patients; training is provided.
Experience with billing and coding.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice.
Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
Recognize changes in a patient’s condition and intervene appropriately.
Prioritize nursing actions to reflect patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
Collaborate with other disciplines on the assigned unit.
Plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Process.
