Workplace Experience Coordinator

PanthalassaPortland, OR
$28 - $35Onsite

About The Position

The Workplace Experience Coordinator plays a vital role in enabling our team through high-touch, reliable service. You'll oversee the workplace hospitality programs that keep our teams fueled, supported, and ready to perform at their best. This includes maintaining shared spaces at a consistently high standard, and managing daily kitchen and food service operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in serving others through excellence, consistency, and proactive follow-through — and who doesn't just execute routines but improves them. You notice what's off, you fix it, and you come back with a better way to prevent it next time. Your work helps create a workplace that feels cared for, organized, and ready for anything. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills and be able to thrive in a creative, scrappy, and collaborative environment in which the best ideas change the company’s direction on a regular basis. Panthalassa’s work is hard, fast, and deeply technical. A well-run workplace is a force multiplier—removing friction, supporting focus, and helping teams operate at a high level. This role is essential to creating an environment where people feel cared for, supported, and able to execute.

Requirements

  • Service-driven, observant, and take pride in running a space that helps people do their best work.
  • Notice what's off before anyone else does — and fix it.
  • Can move quickly without being sloppy, and balance urgency with quality.
  • Don't just follow routines — improve them.
  • Value feedback and constructive criticism as a means to raise the bar on everything you touch.
  • 2+ years of experience in workplace operations, hospitality, events, facilities support, retail, or other high-touch service environments
  • Comfortable operating independently in an onsite role with minimal day-to-day oversight
  • Strong organizational habits and familiarity with checklists, inventory tracking, and digital workplace tools (email/chat, ticketing or task systems such as Atlassian)
  • Familiarity with food safety best practices; Food Handler card a plus or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies, move furniture, and be on your feet for extended periods
  • Service-oriented with a strong sense of ownership for the quality of the workplace experience
  • Proactive and observant — you anticipate needs rather than simply responding to requests
  • A practical systems thinker who notices patterns, improves routines, and helps keep operations running smoothly
  • Strong prioritization instincts and sound judgment in real time
  • Clear communicator who follows through and takes accountability for outcomes
  • Calm, capable, and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Detail-oriented and consistent — you care about the final 10% that makes a space feel polished and well run
  • Physically present and hands-on; you enjoy being active throughout the day and supporting the team directly

  • Support meeting setup and resets as needed, including quick turnarounds between sessions
