About The Position

The PVC Workflow Coordinator is responsible for daily department production activity, facilitating departmental workflow, and supporting the activities and goals of the assigned work function or work cell. The role spends approximately 80% of its time on production processes and 20% on administrative duties. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Demonstrated technical knowledge of the assigned operation or equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of lean principles strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, and an ERP system strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own process boards and review past-due items.
• Stage one job at a time to maintain workflow.
• Identify and navigate bottlenecks and pace product flow.
• Provide training or fill in for designated trainers so training can take place.
• Look for parts and escalate if they are not found within five minutes.
• Serve as the first line of defense for product and people concerns.
• Actively participate in the daily output of the assigned area.
• Support participation in and contribute to Qboards, newspapers, and presentations.
• Attend to hot jobs and pressing area priorities.
• Participate in daily team huddles.
• Provide real-time communication about area disruptions or changes to appropriate parties.
• Follow leader standard work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
