About The Position
2020 Companies is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate, also described as a Wireless Sales Pro, to work in the wireless services section at Walmart 1134 in Defuniak Springs, Florida. The role involves selling wireless services, carrier plans, accessories, and related products while assisting customers and working toward individual sales goals. No door-to-door sales, cold calling, or telemarketing is required. Paid training is provided, and compensation includes base pay plus uncapped commission. The position requires welcoming customers, understanding their needs, explaining products and services, and helping them make selections. Associates maintain professional relationships with customers and coworkers, collaborate with their team, accurately document and communicate sales activity, and keep the work station or kiosk clean and presentable. Performance is measured by attendance, sales goals, and customer/client satisfaction. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of prior sales, retail, telecommunications, or marketing experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, or event environment.
- Engage customers about post-paid and prepaid carrier plans, wireless accessories, and service plans.
- Welcome customers courteously, offer assistance, and suggest solutions.
- Assess customer needs and recommend products and services that fit those needs.
- Provide information about products and services and help customers make selections.
- Build customer confidence and maintain professional interactions with customers and fellow employees.
- Meet or exceed personal monthly sales goals and established weekly or monthly quotas.
- Accurately document and report sales and communicate activity to Retail Operations.
- Submit paperwork completely and accurately.
- Keep the workstation or kiosk clean, organized, functional, and presentable.
- Collaborate with the team to accomplish goals and contribute related results as needed.
- Maintain regular and prompt attendance and protect customer confidentiality.
