About The Position

The Winter Wonderland Entertainment Team member delights guests by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a positive and friendly attitude, and engaging with guests in a fun and exciting manner. Team members encourage guest participation in planned events and activities, follow Dutch Wonderland procedures and policies, and help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. The role involves frequent exposure to indoor and outdoor park areas and variable weather, as well as a busy environment with interruptions, repetitive motion, high noise levels, flashing lights, and large crowds. No education is required. Customer service experience and previous work in youth-centric programs or companies are helpful but not required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 14 years old and meet applicable Pennsylvania Child Labor Act requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, coworkers, and leadership.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to attend required training before beginning assigned duties.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work for scheduled shifts.
• Must meet grooming and personal hygiene standards and wear required clothing layers to support cleanliness and maintenance of shared costumes or clothing.
• Must be playful, outgoing, friendly, and convey a positive, guest-centric attitude.
• Ability to follow directions, multitask, and work as part of a fast-paced team.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for most of the workday.
• Ability to frequently stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders.
• Ability to safely move and handle supplies, equipment, and activity materials as required.

Nice To Haves

• Some customer service experience.
• Previous work in youth-centric programs and/or companies.
• Spanish or other bilingual language skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage guests and encourage participation in planned on-site events and activities.
• Follow procedures and protocols presented during Dutch Wonderland training and in written guidelines.
• Execute activities as designed by Dutch Wonderland.
• Follow property policies and procedures, referring guest concerns to leadership when necessary.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Perform cleaning duties using approved cleaning chemicals.
• Perform other duties assigned by leadership.
