About The Position

The Winter Spa Host provides personable, proactive support and exceptional service to guests at The William Vale’s Winter Spa. The role includes welcoming and checking in guests, assisting with requests, processing payments, and helping maintain the spa’s daily operations. Hosts must communicate professionally, respond to guest inquiries, help resolve issues, and follow established facility and injury-reporting protocols. The position is seasonal and part-time, with varied shifts that may include weekends and holidays, and requires working outdoors in cold weather.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of guest service or host experience.
• Proactive approach to anticipating, preventing, identifying, and resolving problems.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions and situations.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to walk, stand, stretch, bend, and kneel for prolonged periods without restriction.
• Ability to work outdoors in cold temperatures, including snow, wind, and rain.
• Capacity to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in guests while adhering to The William Vale’s hospitality standards.
• Assist guests with requests.
• Process payments efficiently and accurately.
• Set up and break down the Winter Spa each day.
• Ensure guests are aware of facility rules and regulations.
• Report injuries in accordance with established protocols.
• Promptly answer emails and phone calls to assist guests.
• Help resolve guest issues and communicate with relevant parties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
