About The Position

The Winter Spa Manager is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the operation of The William Vale’s Winter Spa. The manager supports and leads the spa team, ensures daily operations run effectively, and provides prompt, professional guest service. The role includes working outdoors in cold weather and requires flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

At least 4 years of customer service experience.
At least 2 years of hospitality leadership experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to maintain professionalism in all interactions and situations.
Strategic business acumen.
Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.
Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds.
Ability to withstand prolonged walking, standing, stretching, bending, and kneeling without restriction.
Ability to work outdoors in cold temperatures, including snow, wind, and rain.
Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Monitor, coach, and support the spa team, emphasizing teamwork.
Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate information to employees.
Assist in supervising, training, evaluating, coaching, and recognizing Winter Spa employees.
Train new hires, with particular attention to operational procedures and Forbes standards.
Oversee scheduling, reporting, and operational requirements for daily Winter Spa operations.
Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Welcome guests, listen to their needs, respond appropriately, and assist in resolving problems.
Remain calm and confident during difficult conversations, emergencies, and periods of heavy hotel activity.
Report injuries in accordance with The William Vale’s established protocols.
Conduct disciplinary action when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
