About The Position
The Winner’s Circle Staff position creates a positive, welcoming first impression and guides Guests through their Midway experience. The role delivers timely, accurate service, responds to Guest requests, provides recommendations and game assistance, and helps maintain merchandise inventory, displays, cleanliness, and supplies. Team Members work cooperatively with colleagues and keep their supervisor informed about problems or unusual matters. The position requires being at least 18 years of age and meeting the physical demands of the role, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Be friendly and smile frequently.
- Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
- Work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions.
- Read and write handwritten notes.
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Move about the facility and stand for long periods; walk or stand for 100% of the shift.
- Reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep, and wipe frequently.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a positive Guest experience in an environment combining food, drinks, and games.
- Keep the immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives when needed.
- Provide timely, accurate service; manage wait times; and communicate information to Guests, Team Members, and Managers.
- Greet Guests warmly, assist with requests, answer questions, and make recommendations.
- Provide game assistance by promptly notifying Support Technicians or Management when needed.
- Say farewell to Guests, confirm their experience was satisfactory, and invite them to return.
- Notify a Manager when a Guest appears unhappy.
- Weigh tickets and scan merchandise accurately to support cost controls.
- Stock, display, and secure merchandise in storage areas.
- Reconcile tickets and merchandise inventory and conduct inventory during or after shifts when applicable.
- Check and restock supplies, bring work areas up to standard, and discuss problem areas with a Manager.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Winner’s Circle, including stocking and cleaning plush merchandise and shelves.
- Position and set up displays to increase Guest traffic and promote sales.
- Assist other Team Members as needed and foster a cooperative working relationship with colleagues.
