About The Position

The Window & Door Service Technician provides onsite residential service and repairs for building materials, primarily windows and doors, while delivering excellent customer service. The position is based in Littleton, Massachusetts, and involves traveling in a company service van to customers’ homes in eastern Massachusetts. This is a full-time role scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexibility in daytime working hours. Travel takes place during shift hours.

Requirements

Working knowledge of windows and doors.
Comfort and proficiency using hand and power tools.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions.
Comfort working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Conduct service calls at customers’ homes to diagnose and repair windows, doors, cabinets, and other building materials.
Troubleshoot issues to determine whether they result from product defects, installation errors, or other causes.
Perform repairs, adjustments, and part replacements using hand and power tools.
Communicate professionally with homeowners, explain repair recommendations, provide estimates, and answer questions.
Maintain positive customer relationships while addressing service concerns.
Collect payments for completed service work.
Maintain service van inventory, coordinate replacement parts, and keep the vehicle clean and organized.
Communicate service updates and resolutions with internal sales teams.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
