About The Position

West Shore Home is hiring a residential remodeler to assist with window and exterior door installations. The Installer follows company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols to complete installations safely and effectively while providing customers with a 5-star experience. The role is based in Richmond, Virginia, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a 6:30 AM start. Installers arrive at the warehouse to load materials and trucks, travel to customers’ homes, complete the installation and cleanup, collect paperwork and payment, and return to the warehouse. The approximate pay is $17–$20 per hour; final compensation may vary based on factors including qualifications and location.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A valid smartphone or smart device to log into company-required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Remove existing window or door components and install replacement windows and exterior doors.
• Replace trim.
• Follow company standard operating procedures and PPE protocols to perform installations safely and effectively.
• Clean the work area thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
