Lead Window and Door Installer - W2, Full Time
About The Position
The Lead Window and Door Installer assists with safe and effective residential installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols, while providing customers with a five-star experience. The role is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a 6:30 AM start. The approximate pay is $24–$28 per hour; final compensation may vary based on background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. West Shore Home is a technology-driven home improvement company specializing in bathroom, flooring, window, and door remodels. The company operates in more than 40 locations and has over 3,000 employees.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
- Must complete the company’s pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
- Remove existing window and door components, install replacement windows and exterior doors, and replace trim.
- Thoroughly clean the work area and take care of the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols.
