About The Position
West Shore Home is hiring a Residential Remodeler to assist with safe, effective home installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols, while providing customers with a five-star experience. The work involves traveling to customers’ homes to remove existing windows or doors, install replacements, replace trim, and clean up carefully. The role is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a 6:30 a.m. start. The approximate pay is $21–$24 per hour; final compensation may vary based on relevant factors, including background, skills, abilities, and geographic location. West Shore Home is a technology-driven home improvement company specializing in bathrooms, flooring, windows, and doors. It operates in more than 40 locations nationwide and has over 3,000 employees.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
- Must complete pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 a.m. to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
- Remove existing window or door spaces, install replacement windows and exterior doors, and replace trim.
- Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols during installations.
- Provide customers with a five-star experience.
