About The Position

West Shore Home is hiring a Lead Shower and Bath Installer to assist with safe, effective bathroom installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and PPE protocols while providing customers with a 5-star experience. The role involves loading materials and trucks at the warehouse, traveling to customers’ homes, removing existing baths or showers, installing new tubs or shower pans and wall surrounds, and updating plumbing when needed. The installer cleans the work area, handles paperwork and payment, and returns to the warehouse. The position is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 6:30 AM. Approximate pay is $20–$25 per hour; final compensation may vary based on background, skills, abilities, and location.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Remove existing baths or showers and install new tubs or shower pans and wall surrounds; update plumbing if needed.
• Follow company standard operating procedures and PPE protocols while performing installations.
• Clean up thoroughly and show care for the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
