About The Position

West Shore Home is seeking an installer to perform safe and effective bathroom installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols, while providing customers with a 5-star experience. The role involves working at customer homes and completing bath and shower remodels, including demolition, installation, and cleanup.

The workday begins at the warehouse at 6:30 AM, where installers load materials and trucks before traveling to customer homes. Installers greet customers, establish rapport, complete the project, collect paperwork and payment, and return to the warehouse. The position is based in Des Moines, Iowa, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Demolish existing baths or showers and install new tubs or shower pans and wall surrounds.
• Update plumbing when needed.
• Clean the work area thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
• Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols.
• Provide customers with a 5-star experience.
