About The Position
West Shore Home is hiring a residential remodeler to help perform safe and effective bathroom installations in customers’ homes, following company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while delivering a five-star customer experience. The role is based in Richmond, Virginia, and the workday begins at 6:30 AM at the warehouse, where installers load materials and trucks before traveling to customer homes. The installer removes existing bath or shower fixtures and installs a new tub or shower pan and wall surround, updating plumbing if needed. The role also includes cleaning the work area thoroughly, handling customer paperwork and payment, and returning to the warehouse. The approximate pay is $25–$27 per hour. Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
- Demolish existing bath or shower installations and install a new tub or pan and wall surround; update plumbing if needed.
- Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while providing a five-star customer experience.
