About The Position
West Shore Home is hiring a residential remodeler to assist with safe and effective bathroom installations according to company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols. The role involves providing customers with a five-star experience throughout the remodel process. The workday begins at the warehouse at 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday, where the installer loads materials and trucks before traveling to customers’ homes. The installer removes existing bath or shower fixtures and installs a new tub or shower pan and wall surround, updating plumbing if needed. The installer cleans the work area, collects paperwork and payment, and returns to the warehouse. The approximate pay is $25–$27 per hour. Final compensation may vary based on factors including background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. West Shore Home operates in more than 40 locations nationwide and has over 3,000 employees. Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
- Demonstrate existing bath or shower installations and install a new tub or shower pan and wall surround.
- Update plumbing when needed.
- Clean the work area thoroughly and show care for the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while performing installations safely and effectively.
- Provide customers with a five-star experience.
