About The Position

West Shore Home is a technology-driven home improvement company specializing in bathroom, flooring, window, and door remodels. The Carpenter Trainee assists with safe and effective installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols, while providing customers with a high-quality experience. The role is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a 6:30 AM start.

The installer reports to the warehouse to load materials and trucks, then travels to customers’ homes to install replacement windows and exterior doors. Duties also include removing existing windows and doors, replacing trim, cleaning the work area, collecting paperwork and payment, and returning to the warehouse. The approximate hourly pay is $20–$25, with final compensation depending on factors such as experience, skills, abilities, and location.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A valid smartphone or smart device to access required company systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Remove existing window and door components and install replacement windows and exterior doors.
• Replace trim.
• Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
• Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while providing a positive customer experience.
