About The Position
West Shore Home is hiring a Residential Remodeler to assist with safe, effective home installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols, while providing customers with a five-star experience. The role is based in Kansas City, Missouri, and works Monday through Friday, starting at 6:30 AM. The approximate pay is $20–$25 per hour; final compensation may vary based on factors such as background, skills, abilities, and geographic location. The installer starts at the warehouse to load materials and trucks, then travels to customers’ homes to remove existing window or door fixtures, install replacements, and replace trim. The role also includes maintaining the customer’s home during the work, completing cleanup, collecting paperwork and payment, and returning to the warehouse. West Shore Home is a technology-driven home improvement company specializing in bathroom, flooring, window, and door remodels, with more than 40 locations and over 3,000 employees.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
- Complete the company’s pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
- Remove existing window and door fixtures, install replacement windows and exterior doors, and replace trim.
- Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while providing a five-star customer experience.
