About The Position

The Flooring Installer assists with safe and effective flooring installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols, while providing customers with a 5-star experience. The role is based in Boston, Massachusetts, and follows a Monday-through-Friday schedule with a 6:30 AM start. Installers arrive at the warehouse to load materials and trucks, travel to customers’ homes, remove existing flooring, install replacement floors, replace trim, clean the work area, collect paperwork and payment, and return to the warehouse. The approximate pay range is $21–$26 per hour.

Requirements

Experience installing windows or doors, carpentry, remodeling, or construction, or willingness to learn.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
Travel to customers’ homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
Demolish and remove existing flooring.
Install replacement floors and replace trim.
Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols.
