Wellness Nurse Manager 7pm-7am $30-36.75 (Full Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellness Nurse Manager to join our team at Fremont located at 1520 E. Bates, Springfield, MO 65804. This full-time position offers a pay range of $30 - $36.75 per hour and involves a unique shift schedule. As a Wellness Nurse Manager, you will be a key leader, responsible for supervising the Wellness team and other departments in the absence of department heads. You will set a positive example by being available to assist with resident needs, ensuring prompt and person-centered care. Accurate documentation of resident assessments and medical records is crucial. You will embody Arrow's core values, providing professional, caring interactions that make residents feel safe and cared for.
Requirements
- Must have current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within state of employment.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
- Can read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents!
- You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hands-on care of memory impaired residents is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) as it is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- In the absence of department heads, this position is in charge of the building.
- Be active in the department, assisting and leading the Wellness team and other departments in ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care is provided.
- Be available to help with call lights, requests for assistance from the team, and demonstrate a sense of urgency that puts the needs, great or small, of a resident first.
- Resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents should be completed accurately and efficiently, and filed correctly.
- Exemplify the core values at the heart of Arrow, ensuring each interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and ends with the resident feeling safe and cared for.
- Provide direct (hands-on) nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
