About The Position

The Bungalows at Fayetteville is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to serve as Wellness Director. The role provides overall leadership and management of residents’ health and well-being within the community. The Wellness Director oversees clinical programs, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance; helps train and onboard clinical and care coordinator team members; and partners with the Regional Director of Resident Care to provide Medication Care Manager training in states where allowed.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of department management experience working with elders or disabled individuals.
• Must demonstrate leadership capabilities.
• Understand infection control procedures.
• Be proficient in using MS Office.
• Understand advanced directives and end-of-life care.
• Understand and embrace the assisted living philosophy.
• Understand nursing functions in assisted living, quality of care, and quality-of-life objectives.

Nice To Haves

• Multi-department experience is strongly recommended.
• Knowledge and experience in the assisted living industry and dementia care or skilled nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of residents’ health and well-being within the community.
• Oversee clinical programs, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with training and onboarding clinical and care coordinator team members.

• Schedule, orient, and train staff.
• Implement Personalized Service Plans.
