About The Position

The Bungalows at Fayetteville is seeking a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse to serve as Wellness Director. The role provides overall leadership and management of residents’ health and well-being within the community. It oversees clinical programs, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, and assists with training and onboarding clinical and care coordinator team members. The Wellness Director also partners with the Regional Director of Resident Care to provide Medication Care Manager training in states where permitted.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Must have an associate or bachelor’s degree.
• Must have at least 2 years of department management experience working with elders or disabled individuals.
• Must demonstrate leadership capabilities.
• Understand infection control procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule, orient, and train staff.
• Proficient in using MS Office.
• Understand and be able to implement Personalized Service Plans.
• Understand advanced directives and end-of-life care.
• Understand and embrace the assisted living philosophy.
• Understand nursing functions in assisted living and quality-of-care and quality-of-life objectives.

Nice To Haves

• Multi-department experience is strongly recommended.
• Knowledge and experience in the assisted living industry and dementia care or skilled nursing.
