Wellness Director
About The Position
The Wellness Director oversees resident care and health-related services at North Pointe Assisted Living, a Sonida Senior Living community in Anderson, South Carolina. The role ensures that care policies and procedures are implemented and that activities comply with applicable state and federal regulations and community policies. The director also builds working relationships with local health care professionals and residents’ health care providers. The position requires a licensed or registered nurse with relevant in-home health or geriatric nursing experience and supervisory experience.
Requirements
- Licensed or Registered Nurse.
- At least three to five years of in-home health or geriatric nursing experience in a similar position.
- Two to four years of supervisory experience required.
Responsibilities
- Assures implementation of policies and procedures relating to resident care and oversees health-related services.
- Manages, coordinates, and directs activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations and community policies and procedures.
- Establishes working relationships with health care professionals in the community, including residents’ health care providers.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
