About The Position

The Wellness Associate provides compassionate, friendly, and professional customer service to patients and caregivers at TerrAscend’s Apothecarium dispensary in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The role assists patients and caregivers with cannabis product selection and recommendations, including information about effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration. This is a part-time, on-site position requiring night and weekend availability.

The position may involve standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. It also requires visual abilities for handling transactions, verifying product information, and maintaining inventory; manual dexterity for handling cash, operating point-of-sale systems, and organizing products; and the ability to remain on one’s feet for extended periods and perform repetitive hand or arm movements, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• Meet the age requirements established by the state Department of Health or State Regulatory Commission.
• Be flexible regarding work schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
• Night and weekend availability is required.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of customer service, retail, or related experience is preferred.
• Cannabis experience is a plus.
