About The Position

NHC (Natural Health Co) is seeking a part-time Wellness Store Sales Associate to help customers find wellness products and support their health and nutrition goals. The role involves providing friendly, knowledgeable service, sharing product information, making recommendations, and contributing to store and team goals. Associates also operate the register and tablets, maintain and stock the store, and open and close the location. The store is open seven days a week. Hours for this role range from 8:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., with rotating weekend shifts required. Associates may be scheduled up to 15 minutes before or after store hours for opening or closing. The position includes lifting, moving, kneeling, and squatting, as well as participation in lunch-and-learns and occasional community events.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a passion for wellness and nutrition.
Have excellent customer service and retail skills.
Bring positive, can-do energy.
Be authorized to work in the United States.
Pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Chat with customers and help them find appropriate wellness products.
Operate the cash register and use tablets and other technology.
Keep the store clean, stocked, and presentable.
Lift and move items, and kneel and squat as needed.
Share product knowledge and make product suggestions, including upsells.
Contribute to team goals.
Open and close the store.
Attend lunch-and-learns.
Attend occasional community events to promote NHC.

$18.00 per hour starting pay.
Health certifications and licenses are immediately eligible for pay increases starting from $2 per hour to $4 per hour.
