About The Position
Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is seeking a skilled Welder for its facility in Louisville, KY. This position is responsible for performing aluminum welding operations to manufacture product that meets quality requirements. The role involves standing for up to 8 hours per day, using machines with moving and cutting parts, lifting up to 35 lbs, and potentially repetitive wrist movement. Candidates must demonstrate TIG welding proficiency by passing a hands-on test and creating welds on aluminum material that meet specific test requirements. The schedule for this position is evenings, from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, with a starting pay of $28.39 and up to $36.24 depending on experience, plus an 8% shift premium.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral directions in English
- Must have excellent manual dexterity
- Must pass TIG Aluminum hands on test
- GED/HS Diploma required
Nice To Haves
- Aluminum welding experience on GTAW (TIG) preferred
- Weld Certification preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform aluminum welding operations
- Manufacture product that meets quality requirements
- Inspect and verify work prior to submitting for inspection
- Keep equipment clean
- Produce welds subject to x-ray analysis, magnaflux inspection, dye check and/or gas tight pressure or other test
